Bio Ruri was the ice demon assigned to throw Hiei over the cliff while Hina cried in greif behind her. She was reluctant to throw Hiei over and before doing so, she tucked one of his mother's tear gems into his bindings so that he would have something to remind him that someone cared about him. She is the one he talks to when he comes back to the village.
